The Move to Tasmania

Well, what a whirlwind year 2024 has been. I could not begin to tell you the upheaval that has been going on since March this year.

Well, Universe - I am listening!!

We packed up what we could fit in and made the move late September and arrived nearly a week later. Both of the horses Ali & Oscar, arrived soon after in relatively good condition considering they had been on the move a week before I had even left.

We are in temporary accomodation with family until the house we are to move to becomes available in the beautiful seaside town of Wynyard on Tasmania’s stunning North West Coast.

I cannot wait to establish myself as an artist in this region. I am so excited!

A Little Insight..

What motivates you? What drives you? What inspires you? Where does your inspiration come from?

I have just enjoyed a beautiful weekend on Tasmania's north coast and finally understand the depth of support and care I really do have from good friends and family. Don’t get me wrong, I always knew it was there, but in my stubborn ‘I can do it myself’ attitude I have been missing the point. The whole ‘we’ve got your back’ support that has helped me truly be open to the sky’s the limit kind of thinking. I always knew of the proverbial ‘when the sh*t hits the fan’ kind of support has always been there, but this is different. It doesn't have to get to that before I can ask for help, and that’s always been a tough one for me. It’s ok. I’ve never liked feeling indebted to others, I guess it’s because it meant leverage. Well, it doesn’t have to. I’ve been looking at it all the wrong way.

I’m feeling more motivated to chase my dream. I’m feeling more motivated to paint my heart out and turn this little pastime of mine into a full blown business…

…and I can’t wait! 🤗

May Madness

Well, I have hit the ground running this month. I have launched a new website (to the best of my ability), booked my site for Fraser Pop - July 14, 15 & 16, heading out to Victory Village Riverbend medieval village on May 21st for a stall, about to book a site for the Witches Market/Yule weekend in Howard Qld, June 24th, ready to start a massive online art business course and then heading to Tassie on the 26th for a breather catching up with friends and family for 4 days.

Super pumped!

The decision to change was based on the performance of my previous website. I was unhappy with how limited I was with the design and its overall appearance as it did not suit my products and images.
